Ayelet Sheffey is a senior at American University and will obtain a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism in December 2020. She has been published across a range of media, including The American University Eagle, The Durango Herald, Green America and the International Center for Journalists.

Sheffey has had experience reporting political, environmental and campus news, and she won first place from the College Media Association for her feature on American University's tuition increase in 2019.
